Sex and the City’s Kristin Davis on fillers: ‘I have been ridiculed relentlessly’. Ahead of a new series of And Just Like That, the actress discusses her real-life rapport with co-stars and the Kim Cattrall fallout.
Kristin Davis is sitting on the sunny patio of a Los Angeles ice cream parlour and every so often, as we talk, she puts a hand up to shield the side of her face. At first I don’t understand what she is doing, then I realise that she can sense anyone who tries to snap a photograph of her. ‘Someone was taking a picture of me out of their car,’ she explains. ‘And look,’ she says, pointing upwards, ‘there’s a drone.’
Not, she adds hastily, that it is stalking her. ‘They don’t care about me, thank God.’ We are in the celebrity hotspot of Brentwood Country Mart (LA’s hilarious take on a rural market, with high-end shops such as Goop), which attracts the likes of Ben Affleck and Reese Witherspoon. The paparazzi are always hovering, waiting to catch somebody. ‘If you park in the parking lot, you’re trapped,’ says Davis. ‘So I parked on the street.’

I spy with my little eye an unexpected item in Kristin Davis’ living room. It is a white love seat. Yes, that white love seat.
Die-hard fans of the Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning Sex and the City franchise would have immediately clocked it as the once-pristine piece of furniture that Charlotte York (Davis’ character) comes home to find her husband, Harry Goldenblatt (played by Evan Handler), comfortably lounging on, stark-ass naked, in the season six episode “A Woman’s Right to Shoes.” Had it been an episode of Friends, it probably would have been called “The One With All of the Tea Bags” … just so you pick up what I’m putting down.
Now, the couch (which has been cleaned of course … duh) is here, 20 years later, looking picture-perfect in Davis’ Los Angeles home, surrounded by wood-paneled, floor-to-ceiling doors, tiled floors, and more white furniture. It’s almost as if a bare ass had never touched it. But what, pray tell, is it doing here?

Hi all! Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I have updated the photo gallery with screen captures of Kristin from the first season of Sex & The City.

Most dating shows start out with casual flirting — but Fox’s new entry skips right ahead to procreation.
Sex and the City star Kristin Davis will host Labor of Love, debuting Thursday, May 21 at 9/8c on Fox. The reality series will follow 41-year-old career woman (and The Bachelor alum) Kristy Katzmann, who’s ready to have a baby; she “will be matched with 15 sexy, sophisticated and like-minded men, who are ready to let their paternal sides shine,” according to the official description. The men will be put through parenting-themed challenges in the hopes that one will eventually become the father of Kristy’s children.
“When I first heard the premise of Labor of Love, I knew I had to be a part of this show,” Davis, who also serves as a producer, said in a statement. “I believe every woman should feel empowered to go after their dreams, whether it be professional or personal, and to be at Kristy’s side as she took her future into her own hands was truly exciting.”
At the end of the eight-week series, Kristy — who competed for Brad Womack’s heart on The Bachelor in 2007 — will decide if she wants to settle down with the last man standing, or if she’d rather continue on the path to motherhood alone.
